Porch Properties

While you’re perched on a porch, it somehow seems that there’s not a thing in the world you have to do.  The porch seems to say, “There is no such thing as measured time here.  You can linger in my protective embrace for as long as you'd like.”

I love porches, particularly front porches.  I vow that my next home will have a fabulous porch—one big enough for oversized wicker chairs and a round wicker table for iced tea and cookies.

I know that I’m not alone in my porch dreams, and so I’ve created this section on Porch Properties not only to help you find a home with a grand veranda or portico, an old-fashioned screened porch, or just a glorified stoop, but also to dream with me.   Perhaps you’ll add your own porch someday.  In the meantime, enjoy the view!
